Michael Fortini is a highly experienced trial attorney barred in the State of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

He is an alumnus of The American University Washington College of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Lade and he is a member of the Order of the Coif. Michael also has a Master of Arts in Philosophy from George Mason University.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Sandra Guzman-Salvado litigation team, Michael owned and operated his own general practice law firm in Maryland, focusing on Family Law, Criminal Defense and Civil Rights litigation. Before he was a solo attorney, Michael worked at a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C. that primarily focused on Criminal Defense and Civil Rights litigation, including representing clients who were unlawfully subjected to employment discrimination, education discrimination, and police misconduct.

Michael enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping, particularly with his family. Michael also loves reading and having philosophical discussions. Michael gives back to the community through his pro bono work as a member of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Service. Michael is passionate about his work and loves being in the courtroom.
